Three young men are suspected of having robbed an apartment on “Gjon Buzuku” Street in Tirana at knifepoint, taking a considerable amount of cash in euros and four mobile phones. Two of the suspected perpetrators have been arrested, while a third is wanted.
According to the Tirana Police, the incident occurred around midnight on June 23. After conducting investigations, the blue uniforms finalized the police operation codenamed "Doorbell", within the framework of which citizens Ersjan Senka, 20 years old, and Kristi Kacolli, 19 years old, were arrested.
Meanwhile, a 21-year-old man with the initials Xh.T. has been declared wanted, who is suspected of having participated in the robbery along with the two arrested.
During the operation, police seized 900 euros and four mobile phones, which are suspected to be the items stolen from the apartment.
Investigations continue to capture the 21-year-old, as well as to verify whether the three young men are involved in other similar theft cases in the capital.

As a result of the quick and professional investigative actions, carried out after the notification that in the apartment of 2 citizens, on "Gjon Buzuku" street, at midnight, on June 23, 2026, a sum of money and 4 mobile phones were stolen through threats with cutting tools, the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Police Commissariat No. 4 finalized the coded operation "Doorbell".
As part of the operation, the suspected co-authors, citizens ES, 20 years old and KK, 19 years old, were arrested in the area called "Alliasi", and the other suspected author, citizen Xh. T., 21 years old, was declared wanted. From the investigations so far, it is suspected that they have threatened the 2 owners of the apartment on "Gjon Buzuku" street with several cutting tools, in order to steal a considerable amount of euros and 4 mobile phones there. Work is underway to capture the 21-year-old, as well as to fully document the criminal activity in the field of theft, in which these citizens may have been involved. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
