A person wanted as part of a criminal group operating in the field of narcotics has been arrested in Tirana.
Tirana Police announces that a citizen with two surnames, Marcel Liçaj alias Marcel Grembi, has been arrested, for whom the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime had set the security measure "prison arrest".
According to investigations, he is suspected of being a member of a structured criminal group active in drug trafficking in European Union countries.
The police operation was conducted by the Criminal Groups Investigation Sector in the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime at the DPPSH, in cooperation with the Directorate of the Special Operational Force.
