A 40-year-old man has been arrested by police after fatally hitting two people with his car in 2024.
According to the police, Klajdi Ruçi was sentenced to 7 years and 4 months in prison for violating traffic rules. He was arrested in the Shkoza area and will now serve the sentence determined by the Court.
"Tirana/The police operation codenamed "Unavoidable" is finalized. Sentenced to over 7 years in prison for violating traffic rules, the 40-year-old is located, captured and detained.
In continuation of the work to capture wanted citizens, as well as based on information obtained operationally on the location of a citizen sentenced to imprisonment, the services of Police Commissariat No. 1, in cooperation with the Road Traffic Commissariat, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Unavoidable".
As a result of which, in Shkoza, it became possible to locate, capture and detain citizen Klajdi Ruçi, 40 years old.
The Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Tirana has sentenced this citizen to 7 years and 4 months in prison, for the criminal offense of "Violation of traffic rules", after in 2024 he caused a road accident resulting in the loss of life of two citizens. The procedural materials were passed on to the Prosecution Office, for further action," the police announced.
