An accident was recorded today near the town of Ulza, where a concrete mixer vehicle left the road and ended up several meters below it.
It is learned that the incident occurred on the Ulza access road just above the hydroelectric power plant substation. The causes of this accident are still unknown, while the driver of the concrete mixer has been sent for treatment to the trauma hospital in Tirana, where fortunately his life is out of danger.
The accident could have almost been fatal for the driver of the vehicle, due to the terrain it occurred in. Fortunately, the vehicle stopped in the stream and did not go any further.
It is learned that the driver of the vehicle was working for the firm that is implementing a project to revitalize the lake line in Ulëz.
