A serious accident was recorded this evening on the "Shkodër-Hani i Hotit" road axis, where a vehicle hit and killed a 68-year-old woman.
The accident occurred at around 17:05, while the driver of the vehicle, a Slovenian citizen, was escorted to the police station. An investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
"Malësi e Madhe / Preliminary information / At around 17:05, on the "Shkodër - Hani i Hotit" road axis, the vehicle driven by Slovenian citizen KJ, hit the pedestrian, citizen PL, 68 years old.
As a result of the accident, citizen PL lost her life. The driver of the vehicle, citizen KJ, was taken to the police station for further action. The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police announced.
