Three serious events have hit public opinion within a few hours in the country; two young people have tragically ended their lives in the Korça region, while an unidentified man has been found dead in Tirana.
The first incident was recorded on "Njazi Meka" street in the capital, where at around 13:20 a citizen of about 60 years old, suspected of being a vagrant, was found without signs of life. The police announce that the preliminary examination did not find any signs of violence, while the investigation team continues to work to identify the victim and determine the cause of death.
Meanwhile, there was also shock in the southeast of the country. In the village of Sovjan in Maliqi, a 35-year-old man, with the initials KH, was found hanged in the yard of his apartment by his family. The incident occurred at around 12:20. Just two hours later, another tragic case occurred in Pogradec, in the village of Rëmenj, where a 20-year-old man with the initials GD was found without signs of life in a hilly area; he is also suspected of having hanged himself.
It seems that the social situation, isolation, and lack of mental health care continue to be deep wounds for Albanian society.
