Fake candidates in internal Albanian party competitions, or even in difficult elections of constitutional institutions, are not cases in Albania but the phenomenon of "post-communist democracy".
The lack and prohibition of real, fair competition, with rules that are respected by the parties, is the main reason for the real and serious impasse in Albanian politics.
The Democratic Party is the place where there has never been a real competition for the position of president, although there have been groups and clans that have had opposing positions and fought politically.

In all likelihood, it is the authorship of some spin doctor who likes cynical and theatrical behavior, however, parties and politics in general are about people who are engaged. In addition to all this, also with their feelings and emotions, namely their dignity.
There is a high possibility that the doctor from Zagreb himself, who is all set for the meeting with Andrej Plenkovic, the Prime Minister and leader of the HDZ, will throw his own thunderbolts when he sees the reactions in real terms. There is no doubt that this maneuver today will backfire. But there is also a high probability that it will be the last straw. Perhaps Ervin Saliani really has a favor that is needed even more in politics - fate.
