Comedian Rama and the unsalted jokes that can cost him a lot!
When it comes to making fun of Donald Trump, the Albanian prime minister is funnier than "comedians" Jimmy Kimmel, Steve Colbert, and Jimmy Fallon all combined.
But it remains to be seen whether Trump took Rama's insult as a joke. Trump, as is known around the world, is much better at throwing insults than at dealing with them.
Rama, 61, the well-known socialist leader of this small Balkan country, sent political leaders into a frenzy at a European summit in Copenhagen a week ago when he joked about the mess Trump was making of countries.
For his part, Trump was in the White House trying to end the wars in Gaza and Ukraine.
Speaking about several conflicts that he claims to have ended around the world, such as the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Trump has on several occasions confused Armenia with Albania.
Armenia is a landlocked country in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia. It borders Azerbaijan and Turkey. Albania is in the Balkans, bordering Greece and Montenegro.
Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law, along with Arab investors, is planning a multibillion-dollar luxury investment on an unpopulated Albanian island. The locals call it "Trump Island." It will be a lucrative venture for politicians.
Trump spoke about ending a war that never existed between Azerbaijan and Albania, while referring to the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
When announcing a peace agreement between the two conflicting countries, Trump posed at the White House shaking hands with the two leaders – Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“ We saw Azerbaijan. It was a big war that lasted thirty, thirty-five years with, uh, Albania. Think of the stupidity ,” he said.
At the European political community summit in Denmark, one of those "guys" (President Aliyev) was with French President Emmanuel Macron and several other dignitaries when Rama began his comedy show by laughing at Trump.
The story of the three leaders mocking Trump went viral across Europe, and a video of the joke went viral.
In the video, Rama, turning to Macron, jokingly rebuked the French leader for not congratulating him and Aliyev on the "peace" that Trump had achieved between Albania and Azerbaijan:
" You should apologize to us because you did not congratulate us on the peace agreement that President Trump made between Albania and Azerbaijan ," Rama said.
As the group laughed, Macron smiled and with a serious face said: “ I’m sorry about that .”
" He worked hard ," Rama said, further insulting Trump.
As soon as Rama's comment spread in international news, he was forced to retract it.
In an apology that sounded mostly like a knee-jerk apology, Rama blamed the media for “ turning words into political poison .”
" The truth is that President Trump has shown himself to be a leader who has brought the word peace back into the Western vocabulary ," he said.

Ky popull ka shprese ka njerez te rinj te shkolluar ne universitetet me te mira brenda e sidomos jashte vendit. Ca eshte kjo mani te ngrejme mitin e te pazevendesueshmit. Vidhemi per dite , dhunohemi grabitemi, tallemi, neperkembemi, genjehemi si shoqeri, dhe prape i thurim lavde liderit. Mjaft o njerez tregohuni dinjitoze do rrisni dhe femije ne kete vend. Dhe nese do jeni duke lepire ndonje kocke, neser do ju ngec ne gryke. Se eshte turp e faqezeze per kedo qe akoma ka shprese te ky individ i paafte i korruptuar psikopat. Se po duket Saimir Tahiri si lejuesi i kanabizimit, veliaj si lejuesi i betonizimit dhe Rama si shpetimrari qe lufton me keta, i ka fut ne burg pas 12 e kusur vjetesh. Zgjohuni o njerez.

O njerez ky eshte arogant dhe talles, karakteristika qe nuk kane asgje te nje populli fukara. Puna eshte se nuk dime te ngreme koke e te bejme gjene e duhur kur vjen puna ne votime. Kemi mbetur mbas PD e PS. Ta mbajme se e kemi hak.
Nuk e kemi hak, na ka rene per hise.
Askush nuk e uron qe marredheniet me Ameriken te kene krisje. Por mreti leshon gojen. Nen efektin e mallit dhe qindra milion eu mbi shpine i shkau goja. Fatmiresisht per kete vend e ka personale.
Nuk i kam qef politikanet, por Edi e ne bashke me ty, mos e rruajme fare se ne Shqiptaret cope cope kemi qene gjithe jeten e vetem ne u bofte ma mire.
