Iran has sent its response to the latest United States proposal to end the conflict that began in late February, Iranian state media reported.
According to the state news agency IRNA, Tehran's response was transmitted today through a Pakistani intermediary.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran's response to the latest draft proposed by the US that aims to end the war was delivered today through a Pakistani intermediary," IRNA reported.
Iranian media did not publish concrete details regarding the content of the response, but emphasized that negotiations at this stage are mainly focused on ending the conflict in the region.
"According to the proposed framework, negotiations at this stage will focus on the issue of ending the war in the region," the IRNA report further said.
This development comes at a time of continued tensions in the region, following diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire and avoid further escalation of the conflict.
