No MP mentioned Chief Commissioner Strakosha's son in the session, while Amant Josifi and Olsi Rama's companies continue their activities under the watchful eye of justice.
SPAK has not seized any of the Josifi family's 14 assets, including villas, land and construction companies. Meanwhile, the call-center firms of Amant Josifi and Olsi Rama continue to operate, despite EUROPOL's request to close them.
During the report to the Committee on Legal Affairs and Public Administration, no DP MP asked the Chief Commissioner of the Civil Service, Pranvera Strakosha, about her son Amant Josifi, suspected of fraud and theft through a network of call-center companies.
Just a few months ago, Sali Berisha mentioned the case of Amant Josifi every day and the help he received from the police and SPAK to escape to Dubai.
The blocked investigations into the partnership with Olsi Rama have turned the file into a silent issue. The DP MPs did not react, following the line of silence of their leadership, while SPAK has also avoided any action regarding extradition from the United Arab Emirates.
Although Spanish authorities and EUROPOL have requested the closure of the fraud network, the call-center companies of Amant Josifi and Olsi Rama continue their activity. The company “APA-LIAISON Sh.pk”, which served as the main center of operations, continues to function with Amant Josifi as the sole owner and Arbana Bushaj as the administrator.
Also active are "Europe Service Group", "Odyssey", "Ever Plus", "Mizu", "Capital Partner", "CTA Group", "Oritech" and "Volans", as well as several other establishments and entities in his name and those of his family.
In November 2022, the Spanish Police, EUROPOL and SPAK conducted a joint operation involving these businesses, linked to the “Milton” mafia group operating in Malta, Israel, Cyprus, Lithuania, Estonia and Russia. Following the action, SPAK announced arrests and seizures, but Amant Josifi was allowed to leave, while Olsi Rama was not included in the file.
Neither the Seized Assets Agency nor the Central Bank has any decision to freeze the companies or assets of the Josifi family. 14 properties, including apartments, villas, land, businesses and hotels in Tirana and Saranda, have been affected. The companies “Balkan Investment Group”, “New Standard”, “Fast-Food International” and “Construction-21”, in the name of father Aleksandër Josifi, continue their activity, although they have been documented as part of a network that recycles money earned from call-center scams./ Pamphlet
