The American company "GA Telesis", through its subsidiary in Florida, has filed a criminal complaint with SPAK against the partners of "Air Albania" for breach of contract, financial abuse and illegal use of two A320 aircraft, while the investigation is expected to also include the managers of "Albcontrol".
While the Albanian government is a 10% partner in “Air Albania”, the company has been embroiled in a new international financial scandal. The American company “Gat Aircraft and Engine Leasing Limited”, part of the “GA Telesis” group, has sued the owners of “Air Albania” in SPAK and in the British Court for contractual fraud, non-payment of obligations and holding the aircraft hostage. Meanwhile, the company linked to Prime Minister Rama continues not to collect profits and hides balance sheets, while the government remains silent.
The company “Air Albania”, created as a symbol of strategic cooperation between Albania and Turkey, has been involved in an international investigation for financial fraud and aircraft hostage taking.
Reliable sources for “Pamphlet” confirm that the American company “Gat Aircraft and Engine Leasing Limited”, headquartered in Florida, has filed a criminal complaint with SPAK against the partners of “Air Albania”, including Sinan Idrizi and the two Turkish partners of “Turkish Airlines”, Sinan Dilek and Sinan Isik.
According to the documents filed, the Americans accuse "Air Albania" of failing to comply with the lease contract for two passenger aircraft of the "A320-200" type, which were used illegally even after the expiration of the agreement.
The aircraft with registration numbers "ZA-ASM 36-76" and "ZA-MMK 49-34", leased in 2023, were not paid for the period January-March 2025, which constitutes a serious contractual violation.
After the American company announced the termination of the contract and demanded the return of the aircraft, Sinan Idrizi and his new partner Sinan Isik not only did not hand them over, but they held them hostage and continued to use them for commercial flights, not even paying the dues to Euro-Control.
Worse still, to avoid seizure, the aircraft have been parked at Istanbul Airport since August 6, 2025, under the protection of "Turkish Airlines", which owns 49% of the shares of the Albanian company.
In its complaint, the American company has also included a civil and criminal lawsuit filed on August 1, 2025 in the British Court, seeking damages for:
- Contractual fraud and intentional breach of financial obligations,
- Pledge of aircraft and their use without a contract,
- Illegal use of logos and flight certificates by "Air Albania".
Sources close to SPAK claim that the request has been registered, but has not yet been made public, because the investigation also includes representatives of “Albcontrol”, which is a 10% partner in “Air Albania” on behalf of the Albanian state.
If the investigation is opened, for the first time SPAK will be forced to investigate a company directly linked to the government and Prime Minister Rama, who personally signed the decision for its creation in 2019.
According to sources of "Pamphlet", "Air Albania" has not submitted any complete financial balance since the beginning of its activity, has not paid any tax on profit, and has not collected 10% of the profits that belong to the state as a partner.
A large part of the flights were carried out for government transport and personal charter of Edi Rama, with the aircraft that the American company is now claiming as its own property.
The facts constitute a triple scandal: fraud against an American company, abuse of foreign property, and concealment of profits belonging to the Albanian state.
If SPAK does not react, this will be the final proof that the justice reform no longer affects the government, but serves to protect the economic interests of the prime minister through the companies he himself has created.
"Air Albania" is thus becoming the symbol of corruption of the Rama government, a company that flies the Albanian flag, but with foreign debts, hostage planes and hidden balance sheets.
Now that an American company has opened a file in SPAK and in the British courts, the matter is no longer in the hands of propaganda: either SPAK will investigate Rama, or it will publicly admit that it is under his orders. / Pamphlet
