Mainly respiratory problems, but also a co-circulation of various viruses have been present in our country since August, according to the director of the IHP, Eugena Tomini.
"Compared to other years, August always brings an increase in cases of respiratory infections, due to the movements of tourists and visitors and carelessness. Also, Covid is present throughout the year, we also had outbreaks of respiratory infections during the first days of September, " she said.
Since we are in the autumn period, vaccination plays an important role in minimizing serious health problems, but also the spread of viruses that are in circulation.
The IHP calls on citizens not to neglect any clinical signs and to seek out specialists to receive appropriate treatment.
