Albanian-American activist Gary Kokalari commented on the Gërdec explosion, saying that Kosta Trebicka's death seems suspicious and that the examination of his body was not accurate.
Further, Kokalari added that the doctors who examined Kosta's body were accompanied by Sali Berisha and it was not a clear and clean examination.
" I spoke to Kosta just a few days before he died and he told me he was going hunting. I knew he was a hunter. He had actually invited me to go with him, but I told him I had something to do, it seemed suspicious to me. I have suggested it on several occasions and I have spoken to several people who had questions and here I am not saying who they are, but I have suggested that an international pathologist who was involved in several murder cases has seen decomposed bodies for 20-30 years and understands what are the reasons why a person dies and who kills a person. I cannot know the answer but it was strange that he pressed on the calluses of the Berisha family. They are known to be ruthless people. It was not an accurate examination of his body. The doctors who did the autopsy were associated with Sali Berisha and were biased and as I remember now they sent from Virginia. It was taken at the last moment, the congressman from Virginia had a relationship with Fatmir "The medium and he has a way of moving around Washington like a snake, making contacts, maybe casually ," he said on "Real Story."
Kokalari said that Ina Rama had no interest in investigating issues related to Berisha because it was under his power. He raises concerns about the standards of justice in our country, mentioning the case of Erion Veliaj and criticizing the fact that, according to him, Berisha remains free while others face justice.
" Ina Rama is another story. She was under Sali Berisha's rule. I know one thing, there were many things she could investigate regarding Sali Berisha. I remember many things during that administration but I also gave her information, for another autopsy on Trebicka but she was not interested. Why?
"She had no interest. I told her we would bring someone from the US to involve her who had explained very difficult issues, who had examined bodies that were 30 to 40 years old, but she had no interest ," he added.
