Around 33,000 citizens have passed through the Morina border crossing point over the last 24 hours, marking a high intensity of movement in both directions.
According to official data, entries into Albania have reached 17,363 citizens, who have traveled in 5,100 vehicles and 66 buses. In the same period, 15,704 exits from the country have been registered with 4,128 vehicles.
The flow has been handled without creating queues, thanks to the implementation of the free movement agreement, which has enabled uninterrupted passage of vehicles across the border.
The majority of travelers are for vacations, tourist visits and stays in curative areas. Visitors from Kosovo continue to constitute a key segment for tourism, especially in the coastal areas of Albania.
