The Criminal Court of Kosovo (GJKKO) has today held an electronic draw for the review of the file against former socialist MP Jurgis Çyrbja and his two associates, Ahmet Masha and Altin Hajri.
Judge Etleva Deda has been selected by lot and will review the case referred by the Special Prosecution Office.
A few days ago, SPAK completed the investigations and sent the file to the Special Court, requesting its transfer for trial.
Prosecutor Adnan Xholi has filed three charges against the defendants: "Revealing state secrets by citizens, committed more than once", "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime" and "Passive corruption in elections".
Meanwhile, the prosecution has decided to divide the file into factions, with the aim of identifying other public officials who are suspected of having assisted the former MP in obtaining and distributing information classified as a state secret.
