The President of the Supreme Court and also the President of the Governing Council of the School of Magistrates, Sokol Sadushi, addressed a message to the newly graduated magistrates during the graduation ceremony, emphasizing that the most important challenge in their careers will be to gain the trust of citizens.

In his speech, Sadushi underlined that entering the justice system is not simply the completion of studies, but the beginning of a mission with high public responsibility, which requires professionalism, integrity and character.

"You will understand that legal knowledge, no matter how profound, is only the beginning of your path. You will understand that the files you will have in front of you are not just procedural acts. Behind every file there is a person, a family, a business, a public interest, a conflict and often a human anguish that seeks answers.

"You will also understand that the most difficult decisions are not always those where the law seems unclear. Often, the most difficult are those decisions where the law is clear, but human circumstances, public pressure, the loneliness of decision-making, and the weight of the consequences test you," said Sadushi.

The Chief Justice also addressed the challenges posed by the age of social media and the influence of public opinion, emphasizing that magistrates should be guided only by the law and not by the pressure of public perceptions or reactions.

According to him, the authority of a magistrate does not stem from the function or rank he holds, but is built through behavior, legal reasoning, dignity, and justice in the exercise of his duties.

"Today the Magistrates' School gives you your diploma. Tomorrow the justice system will give you competence, but no one will give you trust. You will earn it yourself, every day, with the decisions you will make, with your behavior, with every choice you will make during your professional life. I want to believe that you will deserve it. I want to believe that your generation will make Albanian justice stronger, not only through knowledge and professionalism, but also through the character, integrity and dignity with which it will exercise this mission. And one day, perhaps after many years, when you also participate in a ceremony like this, you will understand why some words need to be repeated over and over again: not because they are new, but because they always remain true", Sadushi concluded his speech.
