Albanians living in the United Kingdom have gathered for the second day in a row in front of the Albanian Embassy in London, to express their opposition to the planned project in the Zvërnec area.
During the rally, protesters held national flags and banners with messages in defense of the environment, natural resources, and demands for more transparency regarding development plans in this area.
Calls against Prime Minister Edi Rama were also heard at the protest, with participants chanting slogans such as "Rama in prison", "Rama out!" and "Rama should resign", while waving red and black flags.
The rally in London is part of a series of protests organized by the Albanian diaspora in recent days. Similar demonstrations have also taken place in various cities in Europe and the United States of America, in support of the cause of protecting the Zvërnec area and opposing the planned project there.
