Selami Xhepa, invited to the E-ZONE show, said that regardless of how the procurement procedures will be programmed, in the end the decision-making remains with the officials.
"Many companies in the world have a virtual advisor, which is an algorithm. If a human is capable of making mistakes, studies have shown that the algorithm is 100% accurate."
But in the end, who makes the decision, the algorithm or the human? Public procurements do not suffer today from procedures, but from the final decision which is not based on merit. Today the algorithm will suggest through the data it includes. If the data corresponds to a certain subject, then the final decision will not go to the subject that deserves it. I am not enthusiastic and I have no expectations”, explained Xhepa in Vizion Plus.
During the interview with Vizon Plus, expert Selami Xhepa also focused on the challenges of the fourth government mandate. According to him, in this mandate, the government should focus more on the category of pensioners, legal security, and improving the economic climate in general.
