Security expert Fatjon Softa said that the security situation in the country is serious, as long as we have assassinations in various cities.
He stressed that crime is a concern in our country as it has also claimed the lives of innocent people. Softa added that in many cases, criminal events remain unsolved.
"In many cases, the events are unsolved. The assassinations of 2025, such as the case of the assassination on the Fier-Vlora highway, we still do not have a perpetrator. Serious events show once again that crime is a worrying problem. It is not what the Prime Minister said, "let them eat each other's heads", because crime is a concern for ordinary citizens", said Softa.
He also said that stronger measures are needed regarding territorial control, but we will never have them if we wait only for the police.
"In every attack, we have victims who are bartenders, passersby... Territory control continues to be a worrying problem. As such, it requires stronger measures, but we will not have them if we turn our attention only to the State Police," added the security expert.
According to lawyer Alban Qafa, the problem is not with the Criminal Code, but with the Prosecution and the Court that do not implement it.
