The protest against the investment project in Zvërnec is continuing at "Dëshmorët e Kombit" in Tirana, where thousands of citizens have gathered to oppose the planned developments in the area.
During the rally, a young man who spoke to the protesters criticized both the government and the opposition, stating that neither side is showing due attention to the interests of citizens.
"It seems clear that both the opposition and the government do not care at all about us Albanians. Our salvation is us, each other," he said to the participants.
In his speech, the protester called on citizens to engage more in public debates and to oppose, according to him, the manipulation of public opinion by politics.
"Brothers and sisters, inside and outside Albania, we must understand that Albania is falling into a dark hole that is being sold in the media as a dream for us Albanians.
It is clear that both the opposition and the government do not care at all about us Albanians. Our salvation is us, each other.
"I would ask you to sabotage the prime minister every time he appears in public, because he is a very clever manipulator, to change public opinion," he said.
