The new school year for pre-university education begins on September 8, the day when the new regulation for all 9-year and high schools also comes into effect.
The entire regulation aims to minimize the use of phones in school premises, through the measures that will be applied.
Through an illustrated material from the Ministry of Education, details of the new rules for students and the measures determined in case of violation are provided.

The new regulation requires cooperation with parents in this process and also provides for actions that must be taken in specific cases when the phone must be used.

The regulation stipulates that children can communicate with parents by phone only in emergency cases.

Phones, according to regulations, are placed in boxes or drawers in each classroom, turned off or with the 'air mode' option.

If a student is caught using a phone, he or she is counseled, the parent is notified through SMIP, and the student moves to the counseling phase by the Disciplinary Committee.

While in the case of high school students, there will be an escalation of measures, referring to internal regulations.
