With traditional dances, music from car radios and KLA flags, Albanians in Thessaloniki celebrated their nation's independence on Friday evening, Greek media reported today.
“ This is the day, also known as Flag Day, which commemorates the neighboring country's independence from the Ottoman Empire. Albania's independence was declared in Vlora on November 28, 1912. It is noted that some of the participants in the nationalist celebration had placed KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) flags on their cars ,” writes Thestival.gr.
Participants parked their cars in front of the White Tower and danced with flags.
