Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu has stated that with this movement he created, Ervin Salianji will now be declared an enemy by Sali Berisha.
With the aim of reforming the DP, Ervin Salianji held the first speech from Durrës yesterday. Spahiu further said that Salianji has many anti-Berishists and that he sees his future as the leader of the DP, but to build the profile of the leader of the new opposition united with the new parties that Albania has lacked so far.
"This shows that the Democrats support a different discourse of the DP. Salianji will position himself against Berisha because Berisha will declare him an enemy. Salianji must understand where his strength lies. Salianji today has good relations with the leaders of new parties and has the support of those structures that are new and have not been consumed in the past with positions and power. He has many anti-Berisha supporters and I see his future as the leader of the DP, but he must build the profile of the leader of the new opposition united with the new parties that Albania has lacked so far," said Spahiu.
