Investigations into the poisoning of 64 Security Academy students continue, while police have begun questioning people involved in the preparation and distribution of the food.
As part of the investigation, Police Station No. 1 in Tirana questioned the administrator of the Sori-Al company, who stated that the food supply to students was carried out every day in accordance with the contract. According to her, each meal was cooked and then distributed according to standard procedures, respecting hygiene and sanitary conditions.
The cook, the employees who divided the food into rations for the students, as well as the staff responsible for distributing the meals were also questioned.
Students who showed signs of poisoning also gave evidence.
Up to this stage of the investigation, no person has been placed under investigation in connection with this case.
Meanwhile, investigators are continuing to collect evidence, while the Prosecution Office will be the one that, after evaluating them, will decide whether to file charges and which persons will be officially taken under investigation for the poisoning of 64 Security Academy students.
