Today, 35 administrators of the administrative units of the four municipalities of the Dibër District have submitted their resignations.
It is learned that a day ago, the mayors of the municipalities of Dibër, Bulqizë, Mat and Klos held a meeting with all administrators where they communicated to them Prime Minister Rama's order to dismiss all administrators who have been in this position for over 3 years.
In the Municipality of Dibër, there are 15 administrators who have resigned, in Bulqiza 8 administrators, in Mat 8 administrators and in Klos 4 administrators.
Also, this Tuesday, the deputy mayors also submitted their resignations.
In the Municipality of Mat, the resignation of 1 deputy mayor has been submitted, as well as in Klos. While in Bulqiza and Dibër, four deputy mayors have resigned, two for each municipality, respectively.
Removal from office through forced resignation is done to avoid the economic consequences that could arise if administrators sue the local government in court.
Meanwhile, resignations have also been requested from the directors of the departments, which are expected to be submitted at a later date.
In Kukës, it is also learned that today 14 administrators of administrative units as well as 2 deputy mayors of the municipality, Agron Nuredinaj and Vladimir Spahiu, have submitted their resignations.
According to the official announcement of the Municipality of Kukes, this decision was made after an in-depth analysis of the performance of the structures on the ground, where significant shortcomings were identified in several sectors of services to citizens.
