The Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) has issued a verdict on part of the “Revanshi” case, sentencing five members of the criminal group to prison, including two relatives of former socialist MP Eduard Ndreca. They were found guilty of the criminal offenses of cultivating narcotic plants, possessing weapons without a permit, and providing the conditions to commit murder.
Former RENEA special forces operative Adrian Pikli and Devis Bajramaj were each sentenced to 10 years in prison. Due to the benefit of a summary trial, their sentences were reduced to 6 years and 8 months in prison.
Elvis Ndreca, the son of the uncle of former MP Eduard Ndreca, and Edison Muçeku, were each sentenced to 8 years in prison, a sentence that was reduced to 5 years and 4 months with the summary trial.
Meanwhile, Armando Ndreca, brother of former MP Eduard Ndreca, was sentenced to 11 years in prison, which, after the application of summary judgment, was reduced to 7 years and 4 months.
According to the SPAK file, on November 4, 2020, near the Tapiza Bridge in Fushë-Krujë, Albert Zaja and other people attempted to kill Durim Bami and Ervin Kodra with firearms.
Investigations show that, during the period May-July 2020, Albert Zaja and Edison Muçeku provided the means for the murder of Hamza Terziu. Likewise, in July-August of the same year, Elvis Ndreca is also suspected of providing the means for the murder of Durim Bami.
According to SPAK, in October 2020, Armando Ndreca organized and financed the group that produced and sold 243 kilograms of cannabis in Lezha.
Meanwhile, during 2020-2021, Devis Bajramaj and Adrian Pikli are suspected of being involved in the illegal trafficking of weapons and ammunition, which they also sold to people with criminal records.
As for Albert Zaja, investigated in the same case, the proceedings against him have been separated and are continuing in a separate file.
