Tirana police have officially requested Spain to reveal the movements of Gilmando Dani and Muçi Shaljani during their 4-day stay in Barcelona.
So far, foreign authorities have not responded to the Albanian police. Since the assassination, the police have conducted checks in several different areas, Tirana, Kamëz, Nikël and Fushë-Krujë.
Searches were conducted in abandoned buildings and on previously reported persons. So far, nothing of value to the investigation has been found.
At least 15 people were accompanied, mainly family members of the victim and the injured.
Preliminary examination by the Tirana morgue revealed that Gilmando Dani received 20 bullets in his body, while over 80 shell casings were found at the scene.
Muçi Shaljani, who received 10 bullets in his body, 2 of which were in the head, remains intubated at the Trauma Hospital.
How did the assassination happen?
Yesterday, footage of the assassination attempt that occurred in Rinas on November 11, where Gilmando Dani was killed and AMP officer Muçi Shaljani was injured, was published.
As it appears from the footage, the perpetrators have ambushed the white Benz car, inside which Gilmando Dani was located.
Three masked men with Kalashnikovs exit the Toyota and immediately fire a barrage of bullets at the white car. After the shooting, the Benz stops in the middle of the road.
After the Benz in which Gilmando Dani was driving stops, one of the perpetrators gets out of the black car and shoots the victim in the arm. At one point, the perpetrators get out and exchange bullets.
During the murder, no car is seen near the assassins. After the whole scene, the assassins leave in the direction of Fushë Krujë, where they then burn the vehicle in the village of Halil. Inside the vehicle, they also left the four weapons they used in the murder.

As a result of the assassination, Gilmando Dani was killed, while the driver Muçi Shaljani, an employee of the AMP, is in critical condition. After the incident, the AMP arrested two officers for the illegal appointment of Shaljani to the Police Supervision Agency.
