Lamine Yamal gets two assists but loses his passport. This would be the latest rumor from the Turkish media. After the match valid for Group E of the World Cup qualifiers, which ended 6-0 in favor of the Red Furies, the Spanish striker would have lost his document just before boarding the bus.
In the video, published on social media by the Turkish program Beyaz Futbol, the 18-year-old appears to despair, then searches through his suitcase and finally turns back towards the locker room.
The Instagram episode immediately went viral with 237,000 views, with Turkish fans in the comments joking and mocking the player, saying: "Try asking Arda Guler, he stole it," referring to the rivalry with the Turkish talent owned by Real Madrid. The Spanish federation and the player himself have not confirmed what happened, but Yamal was seen getting back on the bus and leaving with the team.
