Yasir Asani leaves South Korea after two and a half years where he played with Gwangju. His career will continue in Iran with Esteghlal.
Asani could not leave without saying goodbye to Guangjun. The Albanian national team striker expresses his gratitude for the time spent with the Koreans and the achievements as part of them.
Asan's letter:
" They say that everything is already written, the beginning and the end. This was our story with Guangjun, 2 and a half unforgettable years, filled with memories, strong emotions, moments of joy, celebrations, but also moments of sadness. But above all, it was a story that will forever leave a mark on my life.
Now the time has come for me to leave my home, the club that raised me, shaped me and gave me the opportunity to represent the Albanian National Team, where my childhood dream came true and I played with pride in the European Championship.
I could write for days about what this club and this city mean to me, but no words will be enough to describe my gratitude.
Forever grateful to have grown up alongside Guangju, forever grateful for the journey we had together. Strength Guangju !”
