Bayern Munich's honorary president, Uli Hënes, criticized UEFA and FIFA for the tight fixture calendar.
The Bavarian boss suggested they must act quickly to stop FIFA and UEFA from adding more fixtures to the calendar, which hurts players.
He went on to add that European giants such as Real Madrid agree with them on this matter.
City manager Pep Guardiola had earlier criticized FIFA, UEFA and Premier League officials for their fixture scheduling, claiming players would 'die' if they continued to play so many games during the year. .
Speaking to journalists at an event, Hënes said:
" Enough is enough! It cannot go on like this.
We must stop the accumulation of competition. Big clubs like Real Madrid think the same as us, they have the same concerns.
At some point, we have to set boundaries. What some FIFA and UEFA officials are planning is madness. Interest in football will decrease if you have matches every three days ."
Pressure is mounting on FIFA and UEFA after FIFPRO, the International Federation of Professional Footballers, launched legal action against the governing bodies for increasing match congestion.
