According to the latest data published by Football Meets Data, teams' chances of participating in the World Cup Play Offs have undergone some significant changes with Albania on the rise and Serbia on the decline.
Albania is ranked with an 81% probability of being part of the Play Off phase, an increase of +2% compared to the previous update.
This progress reflects the positive form of the Rossoneri in recent matches, where the victory over Serbia stands out.
On the other hand, Serbia has seen a slight decrease in its rating, currently with a 19% chance of qualifying, which represents a drop of -2%.
This reflects the difficulties the Serbian team has recently encountered in terms of results and game stability, making the path to a ticket to the Play Offs more complicated.
The November challenges will be decisive, especially the match between England and Serbia, as well as the Rossoneri's transfer to Andorra.
Overall, the regional panorama shows a dominance of Eastern European and Balkan countries in the race for the remaining places, with teams like Romania (99.6%), Hungary (90%) and Moldova (75%) also fighting to be in the Play Off stage.
Kosovo has 74%, although it is actually in a very favorable position.
