Football fans, especially Leo Messi, have a strong reason to celebrate. "The Flea" not only has no intention of retiring from football, but the Argentine legend recently renewed his contract with Inter Miami until 2028. With this signature, Messi confirmed that he will remain in active football for at least another 3 years, at least he will play football until the age of 41. Messi did not hide his joy for this new signature with the club from Los Angeles:
" I'm really happy to continue to be part of this project, initially it was a dream, but now it has become a beautiful reality. Since I came to Miami, I've been very happy, so I'm pleased to continue playing here," said Lionel Messi .
The Argentine star has become an emblem not only for the Inter Miami club, where in 82 matches he has scored 71 goals and provided 37 assists, but he has also enormously increased the image of MLS.
David Beckham, CEO and owner of Inter Miami, was also happy about the renewal with Leo Messi : "Our idea was to bring the best player in the world to the team and to the city, and we did exactly that. I'm happy that Messi will continue to be part of our team ," Beckham said.
