Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo spoke in an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan about figures who, according to him, have global influence - including US President Donald Trump.
" Trump is one of the people who can help change the world," Ronaldo said, emphasizing the importance of leaders who "play for peace and unity ."
We recall that last summer, the Al Nassr footballer sent Trump a signed jersey with the dedication "Play for peace."
In the same interview, Ronaldo also spoke about the upcoming World Cup to be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico, surprising with the statement that he "no longer dreams of winning the World Cup."
" How can that define me? Winning a tournament with six or seven matches... do you think that's fair ?" said the 39-year-old, underlining that his legacy does not depend on a single trophy.
