Kosovo has managed to secure the first medal at the Olympic Games in Paris. It was the judoka, Distria Krasniqi, who won the first Olympic medal for Kosovo.
In the sport of judo, Krasniqi fought in the final against Keldiyorova from Uzbekistan, who managed to defeat the "Dardane" judoka.
However, this is the second Olympic medal for him and the fourth for Kosovo in the three Olympic Games he has participated.
"Silver, but with the taste of gold", writes the Olympic Federation of Kosovo in its post about Krasniqi's extraordinary achievement.
