Albanian international defender Marash Kumbulla has enjoyed a positive season in Spain with Espanyol, on loan from Roma. He helped the Catalan club avoid relegation by acting as a real "wall" at the back.
The positive performances also caught the eye of coach Silvinjo, who called him to the national team. On the eve of the duel with Serbia, Kumbulla appeared very motivated on his social networks, where he wrote in a post: " Happy to be back home! Ready for the next challenges! Strength Albania !".
It is worth mentioning that during the last football season, Kumbulla registered 36 matches in total, translated with 3 goals and 10 yellow cards. The value of the 25-year-old defender according to "Transfermarkt" goes up to 6 million euros. It remains to be seen whether Silvinjo will entrust the place of the starter to Marashi, where the competition is great.
