On Friday, June 6, the Serbian national team will arrive in Tirana, where the first match in the World Cup qualifiers is expected to take place a day later - the third for our team.
On the eve of his departure for Albania, Urosh Račič, considered one of the returnees to the Serbian national team, talks about the situation before the match, given that he knows Albania well, having played against it, but also being a teammate with Nedim Bajrami at Sassuolo, in Italy.
" I know many Albanian players, I had teammates at Sassuolo as well. They are a good national team, our big opponent. They are a strong and difficult opponent, they deserve respect like all the other teams. I see that they are looking forward to our match, just like us, so everything will be seen on the field. At the European Championship, they left a good impression, fought, acted as a team ," says Račić.
Meanwhile, Serbia's first-choice goalkeeper, Predrag Rajkovic, will miss the match against Albania in Tirana. He underwent surgery and has already been released from the hospital.
An important absence for our opponent, who will arrive in Tirana with several absences due to internal problems that the veterans of this representative team have with their coach.
