A mother named Sarah Love was surprised when a stranger approached her and made an unusual comment about the color of her newborn son's skin.
The "Daily Mail" went that he actually saved the life of little Lincoln, after it was discovered that he had a health problem and that he had only a few weeks left to live.
Sarah Love was on a family trip to SeaWorld in Florida with her 6-week-old baby. At that moment, a man approached them and pointed out the yellow color of the baby.
Initially, she thought the comment was strange, but the man in question calmed her down and explained his profession as a firefighter and part of the EMT (emergency medical technicians).
He had told her that he didn't think it was anything scary or to worry about, but urged the toddler's mother to get him checked out by a doctor.
A series of tests and blood tests revealed that Lincoln had biliary atresia, a childhood liver disease that blocks the bile ducts leading from the liver.
This caused a build-up of bilirubin in the blood, which manifests itself as yellowing of the skin and eyes. In rare cases when bilirubin levels become too high, it can be life-threatening due to possible brain damage.
Sarah Love is now crediting the stranger she met at SeaWorld for helping after saving her son's life.
