Robbie Williams has been named FIFA Music Ambassador for the 2025 Club World Cup. The British singer has written and recorded the tournament's official anthem, "Desire", which will debut before the opening match.
Created in collaboration with Karl Brazil, Owen Parker and Erik Jan Grob, the song will be used at all FIFA matches around the world, including the 2026 World Cup. Robbie describes the song as a mix of emotions that reflects the energy, pride and unity of football.
Italian singer Laura Pausini has also joined the project, whom Robbie personally invited. “To be part of ‘Desire’ is a great honour. This song is touching and will be an unforgettable moment in front of the football audience,” said Pausini. The announcement comes as Robbie wraps up his successful BRITPOP tour in the UK, while preparing for the release of his new album of the same name.
