"They would have said 'what an idiot'", Wanda Nara's

Wanda Nara has given a long interview to the Argentine media where she talked about different stages of her life. And undoubtedly one of the most interesting is the stage with Mauro Icardi.

The model decided to become the manager of the Argentine footballer and she has revealed very interesting behind-the-scenes details of this decision.

" I got involved in something I shouldn't have been involved in, negotiating with men in football. They put you in a position where you were initially underestimated. I had to take the helm of a boat that at that moment wasn't going anywhere."

My ex-husband was changing managers, his contract was coming to an end and he had to renew with the club. I remember picking up the phone and saying: “Now you will negotiate with me”. They must have said “what the hell, how can this idiot call? Okay, let’s sort it out”. It seemed like they were always keeping their distance. But there was no way around it, the best thing was to reach an agreement.

I remember securing a contract three times higher than the one the manager was working on and with which they couldn't reach that figure. Then I told them I also want the captain's armband. I want this, I want that, I want that other thing, but what do you need the captain's armband for? I needed it to negotiate with a sponsor, since he was the youngest captain and had secured the armband in such a short time. And I thought about all of this , "revealed Wanda Nara.
