Naim Murseli saw in the courtroom today the photograph of his wife, who was executed by gunfire in a car, an event for which he is suspected of ordering.
The trial of Naim Murseli, Kushtrim Kokalla and Granit Plava, accused of the murder of Liridona Ademaj, is underway at the Basic Court in Pristina. During the hearing, Murseli stated that the person he described as a robber had only asked for phones and money.
"One child was sitting behind me, the other behind Liridona. If I remember correctly, they were not tied up. They came out of the same door," he said.
Among the evidence presented in the courtroom were images of children's toys left at the scene. The trial panel continued questioning Murseli, focusing on his statements regarding the purchase of the weapon from the accused Granit Plava.
"He said he would sell it for double the next day. That was the reason, that's why I bought it. I wouldn't have had any benefit if he had sold it for double. He just helped me, because he was my fellow villager and a friend of Kushtrim. I didn't know his financial situation," Murseli declared.
Asked if he knew that his wife had been killed with the same weapon, he answered briefly: "Yes."
