The Chief State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, says that verification of ballots from the diaspora continues, while the counting for candidates is being carried out.
In a press conference, Celibashi stated that 201,795 people voted from abroad. Meanwhile, there were 1,971 invalid ballots.
Meanwhile, the CEC has received documentation for 202,063 ballots, while 353 ballots did not arrive by DHL.
"199,824 are valid ballots. 1971 are invalid ballots. There are 201,795 voters from abroad. If you consider, from the total number of postal envelopes that arrived at the CEC, it makes logical sense and from all this, a slightly smaller number of ballots has resulted, distributed according to subjects," he emphasized.
