In a speech given at what is considered the celebration of the Socialist Party's victory in the May 11 elections, held at the Brigades Palace, Prime Minister Edi Rama considered as unfounded the accusations leveled by the opposition for manipulating the elections through pressure or through the scheme called the 'Bulgarian train'.
"Avaz is as we knew it and as I warned it with the precision of someone who is telling a movie he has seen ten times. We simply received the fruits of long, persistent work, programmed with a calendar since the victory in the local elections.
These days, their parallel universe is filled with black clouds that pour down the rain of stolen votes everywhere.
Voting envelopes that approach from all sides, that approach like flocks of paper birds, Bulgarian trains that traverse the mountains and valleys of Albania to multiply the regime's votes, mountain ranges of cannabis that flourish with the blessing of the party-state and the imaginary licenses of the party-state, dozens of young deputies here who have emerged from the caves of crime.
"We have no disappointment here, the situation is as we knew it would be and as I warned with the precision of someone who is narrating a movie he has seen 10 times," said Rama.
