Protesters respond to Rama: There is no trust for you, prison awaits you after
Rama and the mass protests

From the 55th day of protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, citizens rejected the Prime Minister's call for reflection and "Besa", declaring that they demand not only the resignation of Edi Rama, but also his confrontation with justice.

The protesters have responded directly to the statements of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who during the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group said that he will reflect on the demands of citizens and presented the "Besa" platform.

From the protest podium in front of the Prime Minister's Office, one of the activists declared that Rama cannot ask for the allegiance of the Albanians, as according to him, he has "cut it off for 13 years" and has not reacted to the protest even after 55 days of uninterrupted rallies.

" Today is the 55th day that we have been in the square without interruption to demand the resignation of this prime minister. The prime minister appeared with voice and image asking for our allegiance, but he gives allegiance to someone who has sworn allegiance to us for 13 years without interruption? There is no allegiance for you, prime minister. Only yesterday, the citizens who have been protesting for 55 days were sworn in. You are trying to scare us into going home and you to continue, but we will not allow this criminal government ," he said.

According to the protesters, the purpose of the rallies has not changed and is not limited to the removal of the prime minister from office.

" He knows that there is no escape and the only escape from this nightmare is resignation. But Rama is trying to mitigate the situation and demands that after resigning he escape justice. After resignation, justice awaits him. The second demand comes, a transitional government so that the system can get oxygen and enable democracy that has been held hostage by the incriminated system ," said the activist.

Another protester also spoke at the podium, accusing the prime minister of trying to manipulate public opinion, only reacting after 55 days of protests.

" If Edi Rama wanted to listen to us, he wouldn't have waited 55 days, he wouldn't have cursed us. But he wants to manipulate. He even tried to use the old lady. Instead of taking responsibility for the government's failure, he continues to make low-level efforts ," said the protester.

The protesters reiterated that they will not stop the rallies until, according to them, the two main demands are met: the resignation of Edi Rama and his confrontation with justice, as well as the creation of a transitional government.
