Citizens for the 56th day in the square, ignore Rama's 'Besa'

The 56th day of anti-government protests has begun in the capital. Hundreds of citizens have gathered at Skanderbeg Square, from where they have started the march towards the Prime Minister's Office, carrying national flags and anti-government banners.

During the march towards the Prime Minister's Office, chants of "Rama go!", "Resign!" and "Albania will not surrender!" are constantly heard, while the organizers reiterate that the protest will continue every day, without interruption.

It is worth noting that the protest continues even after the presentation of the "Besa" platform by Prime Minister Edi Rama, which, according to him, aims to create more direct communication with citizens.

Protesters have expressed that they do not consider the prime minister's statements sufficient and that they do not expect new platforms or initiatives from the government.

According to them, the protest has long since passed the stage of sectoral demands. They insist that the object of the rallies is no longer to obtain political promises or commitments, but to remove Edi Rama from leading the government.

Organizers consider the daily street protests as the only means to exert pressure on the government, emphasizing that there will be no retreat until their demands are met.
