Today is the 56th day of anti-government protests in the capital. Hundreds of citizens have gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office, holding national flags and anti-government banners.
A young man has torn up the document that Prime Minister Edi Rama presented as a way to demand the "Belief" of the citizens. This was the young man's response to the protest, saying that the Albanians' besa cannot be given to a traitor.
"The 'Besa' document is not worth reading. The content is very weak and very dark. Have the courage to say in the introduction that this protest was made by the government, that the government with its achievements opened our eyes to demand more. You are asking for the allegiance of the Albanian, you traitor. You are 28 years too late to give us the allegiance.
You should have given us the pledge when you were Minister of Culture. Try to sell this as the pledge of the Albanian, but it is not the Albanian who is selling Albania, our Sazan… This here is the pledge of the dark one who is seeking to leave Sazan as a guarantee on the tables of power.
