Today is the 56th day of anti-government protests in the capital. Hundreds of citizens have gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office, holding national flags and anti-government banners.
A citizen, during his recovery, has exploded in criticism of Prime Minister Edi Rama and opposition leader Sali Berisha. He declared that Rama and Berisha should leave politics once and for all.
"Edi Rama called us, crows, hopeless ravens and comes to ask for our allegiance. We have been in the square for 56 days and we demand your unconditional departure. Edi Rama and Sali Berisha are the same system, you, like the head of the snake, have poisoned this nation and people.
"This protest is against your system and against you. You and your parliamentary gang and chorus of toads left nothing unsaid about us, and now that you see that the earth is shaking under your feet, you are asking for allegiance. The allegiance belongs to the people and not to those who betrayed them. Berisha and Rama are traitors to the nation," he said.
