Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech in Elbasan on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party, exploded with accusations against bloggers, influencers and journalists who have given voice to the "flamenco revolution".
Visibly irritated by the citizens' protest, Rama said that a bunch of bloggers who collect money by showing every part of their body, which he said he did for free years ago, are talking about treason against Albania, they will not pay any taxes to the state.
"We are... we are not the traitors. They show us corruption. They show us corruption, bloggers who leave no money uncollected by showing all parts of their bodies, which I showed them for free when I was young. Yes... and who do not give a single euro in tax to the state and the Albanian people. They do not pay a single euro in tax! Bloggers, influencers! They show us... they show us traitors, some analysts and journalists who are paid in hand money, do not declare their salaries. They go there to the Green Coast, they vacation in the middle of concrete, and then come here and cry about the plight of flamingos." Rama said.
