The battle for negative reviews, Tabaku 'shoots' Rama: The failed
Jorida Tabaku and Edi Rama

Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku has responded to Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements, accusing him of trying to avoid responsibility for the economic situation in the country through, as she puts it, "self-victimization" and the creation of imaginary enemies.

Through a reaction on Facebook, Tabaku refutes Rama's claims of an organized attack on Albania and says that the reality is completely different.

"The Prime Minister has only self-victimization and the fabrication of internal and external enemies to build an alibi for his failure. There is no organized political or economic aggression against Albania. There are citizens who have risen up against a government and a system that works for the minority and impoverishes the majority," Tabaku declares.

The Democratic MP emphasizes that economic problems cannot be covered up with propaganda, as, according to her, they are reflected every day in the lives of citizens.

"Economic failure cannot be hidden behind propaganda. It is on the table of increasingly poor Albanian families. It is among pensioners living on the poverty line, where 27% of them are considered poor by any national and international standard ," she says.

In her reaction, Tabaku also focuses on the tourism sector, which she considers one of the main pillars of the economy, but which, according to her, is being harmed by the way of governance.

"Even tourism, one of the main pillars of the economy, is endangered by this unjust system, by corruption, informality and lack of vision," the MP emphasizes.

Tabaku accuses the government of having established a model that favors a minority to the detriment of the majority of citizens.

"This minority system has created a quagmire that is sinking the economy and driving Albanians away from their country. Everything else is old propaganda and a desperate attempt to keep the power scum afloat. It is time for change. It is time to turn a new page for Albania," her reaction concludes.
