The head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has directly attacked Prime Minister Edi Rama, accusing him of using Iran to attack protesters opposing the project in Zvërnec.
Through a reaction on social media, Bardhi declares that it was Rama himself who included Iran in the debate, after according to him he raised claims of Iranian influence in the civic protests.
According to the Democratic MP, the prime minister is trying to avoid responsibility in the face of the civic revolt by inventing new enemies and conspiracies.
"You brought Iran into this debate. You accused the protesters. You invented the conspiracy with Iranians. You demanded this reaction," Bardhi writes.
He goes even further in his accusations, claiming that Rama is willing to do anything to maintain power.
"You know neither limits nor consequences for your chair. You are proving that for power you have no problem even flirting with Iran," says Bardhi.
The Democrat also accuses the prime minister of considering anyone who disagrees with him an enemy, listing protesters, the opposition, neighbors, Europeans, and influencers as groups that, according to him, have been targeted by Rama.
At the end of the reaction, Bardhi harshly attacks the head of government, declaring that Albania has only one problem and that his name is Edi Rama.
"Today Albania has only one enemy. His name is Edi Rama. And the time has come for him to leave," concludes Bardhi.

Oh, really? Do you really think Albanians are that stupid? There's nothing surprising here. You brought Iran into this debate.

Now, I don't think anyone is left with any doubts that for your position you know neither limits nor consequences. You are proving that for your position you have no problem even flirting with Iran.
The truth is that you are no different from the ayatollahs in your relationship with power. Anyone who disobeys you is declared an enemy.
Hostile protesters.
Enemy opponents.
Enemy neighbors.
Europeans are enemies.
Enemy influencers.
Today Albania has only one enemy. His name is Edi Rama. And the time has come for him to leave.
