Two days ago, in a media appearance, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, stated that the name of the Democratic Party candidate for the elections in Tirana would be consulted with allied parties, aiming for the widest possible support.
This, apparently, did not please Gazment Bardhi, who for a long time, whenever he wants to send a message, uses his advisor, Marash Logu, to attack or criticize.
In a post on the social network Facebook, Logu writes specifically about the issue of the DP's pre-election coalition, stating that insisting on such a thing means admitting that you cannot defeat your political opponent.
Logu even goes further, accusing all those seeking a pre-election coalition with the DP of serving Edi Rama.
"To persistently seek a pre-election coalition means to admit that one cannot defeat one's political opponent alone. Personally, I am of the opinion that the Democratic Party should run alone in the local by-elections or general elections without wasting a single minute on coalitions with entities that, at worst, are at the service of Edi Rama and, at best, do not add any votes."
"The Democratic Party's sole coalition must be with the citizens and for this, work must begin as soon as possible to prepare the candidate, team, program and electoral organization for the upcoming elections in the Municipality of Tirana and the other five municipalities. The Democratic Party and the Democrats have succeeded before and we can succeed again with work, knowledge and citizenship," Logu writes.
